Approaching

Layout or written communication is functional but not fully developed. Unattractive formatting or distracting text fonts, content is not fully developed, a few spelling errors, and graphics are lacking or is text heavy.
Meeting

Layout is organized and written communcation is effective. The grade level is appropriate for the audience. The formatting is readable and attractive. The presentation contains several details from research that are correct and appropriate for the topic. There are no more than two spelling mistakes and the graphics are appropriate for the topic.
Exceeding

Layout is logical and appealing; text and graphic communication is focused and interesting. The presentation is exceptionally attractive. Presentation is constructed at an appropriate grade level for an undergraduate audience. The content is correct, appropriate for the topic and based on current research understanding. There are no spelling mistakes and the graphics are clear, understandable and appropriate.
