Content	Poor - Content is incomplete. - Major sections do not contain appropriate information.	Fair - Content is not comprehensive. - Content is inconsistent with regard to purpose.	Good - Content is comprehensive and accurate. - Major sections are stated clearly and contain the necessary information. - Content and purpose of the resume are clear.
Organization & Structure	Poor - Organization and structure detract from the reader's attention. -The organization does not highlight what is important.	Fair - Structure of the resume is not easy to follow. -Could be better organized.	Good - Structure of the resume is clear and easy to follow. -Action verbs and active voice convey skills, responsibilities, and accomplishments. -Major sections are well organized, with the most important points listed first.
Format	Poor - Resume lacks many elements of correct formatting. - Resume is inadequate/excessive in length.	Fair - Resume follows most guidelines but lacks some elements of correct formatting. - Resume is slightly too long or too short.	Good - Resume follows designated guidelines. - Resume is the appropriate length for the applicant and the employer.
Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling	Poor - Resume contains numerous grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors. - Language uses jargon or conversational tone.	Fair - Resume contains few grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors. - Language lacks clarity or includes the use of some jargon or conversational tone.	Good - Rules of grammar with attention to parallel structure, usage, and punctuation are followed; spelling is correct. - Language is clear and precise; sentences display consistently strong, varied structure.
