Meeting - Content is accurate and persuasive. - Major points are stated. - Content and purpose of the writing are clear. - Most questions answered 2-4 grammatical mistakes	Approaching - Major points are addressed, but not well supported. - Responses are inadequate or do not address assignment. - Some questions answered. 4-6 grammatical mistakes.	Beginning - Content is incomplete. - Major points are not clear and /or persuasive. - Few questions answered. 7+ grammatical mistakes.
Format	Exceeding - writing is the appropriate length 150 + words -Format enhances readability of paper.	Meeting - Paper follows designated guidelines. - Paper is the appropriate length 100- words -Format is good.	Approaching - Paper follows most guidelines. 50- words	Beginning - Paper lacks many elements of correct grammar and it is difficult to understand - Paper is inadequate in length.
