Wax Museum: Paragraph Writing and Presenting Wax Museum: Paragraph Writing and Presenting The goal for the writing portion of this project is to write a well organized 5 paragraph biography, using notes from research. Later, the student will read his or her paragraphs while pretending to be a figurine of the historical figure in a class "wax" museum. Content & Development Student tells about the life and achievements of a famous historical person. Good 45 pts - My content is not easy to understand. - My major points are addressed, but not well explained. - The purpose of my writing is somewhat clear and consistent. Organization & Structure Should have at least 3 different points about the person's life and 3 points about the person's achievements.	Excellent 30 pts - My paper is organized, neat, and easy to follow. - My paper is easy to read and flows well. - Sentences begin in a variety of ways. - I have used "time connectors" where appropriate. -I have included an introduction and conclusion. Presentation Speak well during the presentation.	Excellent 10 pts - I speak loudly, clearly, and with confidence. I stand/sit firmly without rocking. I look up for long moments, occasionally glancing at my notes.	Good 7 pts - I speak loudly enough to be heard. I may stammer a little. I may figit a little. My eyes may flutter quickly from audience to notes.	Poor 5 pts - I am difficult to hear. I shift weight from one side to the other, or I figit a lot. I look down during the entire presentation.
