Excellent - Content is comprehensive, accurate, and persuasive with a strong lead - Major points are stated clearly and are well supported. - Content and purpose of the writing are clear.
Organization & Structure 30 %	Poor - Organization and structure detract from the content. - Article is disjointed and lack transition of thoughts.	Good - Structure of the article is not that easy to follow. - Paragraph transitions need some improvement.	Excellent - Structure of the article is clear and easy to follow. -Flow of ideas fluid and logical.
Format, Punctuation & Spelling 10 %	Poor - Article lacks many elements of the correct format. -Frequent errors in spelling/accentuation or punctuation. - Article is inadequate/excessive in length.	Good - Article follows most guidelines. -Occasional faults in spelling/accentuation or punctuation.	Excellent - Article follows designated guidelines. - Article is the appropriate length as described for the assignment. -Very few or no faults with respect to spelling/accentuation or punctuation.
