Journal Entry Rubric Journal Entry Rubric Journal entries MUST be 5-7 sentences. No less. If you are absent, write the word "absent" across the page for the date you missed. You will not need to make-up that entry. If your journal is missing 2 pts. (see scoring) will be deducted for each missing day. No exceptions. You will still need to complete your journal on a sheet of paper and staple it into journal. If you lose your journal, you are responsible for replacing it. Format/Grammar	Weak - Paper contains numerous grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors.<BR> <BR> - Paragraph is inadequate/excessive in length.	Average - Paragraph contains few grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors.<BR> <BR> - Paragraph is slightly over/ under sentence length.	Above Average - Some of rules of grammar, usage, and punctuation are followed; spelling is correct.<BR> <BR> - Paragraph is 5-7 complete sentences. No fewer than 5.
