Fair - Content is accurate - Content is mostly complete	Poor - Major points are addressed, but not well supported or discussed.	Substandard - Content is incomplete. - Major required topics are lacking or not all included or poorly discussed.
Organization & Structure	Exceptional - Conclusion flows from the body of paper.	Good - Introduction previews major points. - Paragraph transitions is logical	Fair - Structure of the paper is clear.	Poor - Structure of the paper is not easy to follow. - Introduction does not preview all major points. - Paragraph transition need improvement. - Conclusion is does not flow well.	Substandard - Structure detracts from the message of the writer. - Introduction and/or conclusion is missing. - Paragraphs are disjointed and lack transition of thoughts.
Topic Assessment	Exceptional -Paper presents well researched and documented topics for discussion. -paper is the required length.	Good	Fair -Paper presents adequately researched topics for discussion, and is almost required length.	Poor	Substandard -Paper does not present well documented research for topic discussion, and is well below required length.
APA Formatting	Exceptional - Paper follows APA designated guidelines with all required components.	Good	Fair - Paper follows most APA guidelines. -Formattting is mostly accurate with most required components.	Poor	Substandard - Paper lacks many elements of correct APA formattting such as citations, title page, references, page numbers.
Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling	Exceptional - Paper contains less than 1-2 errors in grammar, punctuation or spelling. - Language is clear and precise.	Good	Fair - Paper contains few grammatical, and a few punctuation and spelling errors.	Poor	Substandard - Paper contains numerous grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors.
