Content	4. Mastery Introduces the book's title, author and main character in the first two sentences. Presents a concise but sufficient summary of the plot. Includes information about the work's setting and the main character's problem or goal.	3. Meets the Standard Introduces at least 2 of the following in the first two sentences: the book's title, author and/or main character. Presents a general summary of the plot. Includes some information about the book's setting or the main character's problem or goal.	2. Emerging Introduces at least one of the following in the first two sentences: the book's title, author or main character. Presents a vague summary of the plot.
