Space Exploration Project
Individual students will research and discover information about an aspect of space: stars, asteroids, planets, , etc. may be topics. Students will provide facts with detailed explanations about their chosen topic. At least one visual should be included in whatever format their final project takes. A class presentation will be made, and neatness and timeliness of work will be evaluated.

Exemplary

The work done exceeds all expectations. The effort put into this task is the best it can be by the learner and significant time in the project is evident.
PRESENTATION

Beginning

Not enough preparation was done for the presentation of the information. It lacks the expected organization and flow.
Developing

The information presented is not clearly presented with understanding of the project. However, order and flow is evident.
Proficient

The student presents the information clearly and displays a reasonable understanding of their information. There may be mispronunciations or the inability to answer some basic questions.
Exemplary

The student is well-prepared, presents the information clearly, and displays a complete understanding of the information.
