Approaching Objective Does not restate a part of the questions, or does not completely answer the questions that were asked.	Area of Concern Does not answer the questions, OR did not appear to understand the questions, or find the correct answers in the text read.
Details from Text	Exceeds Objective Sufficient details from the text clearly and completely support the responses to the questions.	Meets Objective The details support and respond to the questions.	Approaching Objective Details do not fully support or respond to the questions.	Area of Concern Does not answer the questions, OR did not appear to understand the questions, or find the correct answer in the text read.
Mechanics	Exceeds Objective Flawless conventions and sentence fluency.	Meets Objective One or two minor errors in sentence fluency, grammar, or conventions.	Approaching Objective Some significant errors in conventions, sentence fluency, or grammar.	Area of Concern Many errors. Some responses don't make sense or are unreadable.
Guideline and Heading	Exceeds Objective Writing shows evidence of following ALL directions in form or method of answers given.
