History Poster and Presentation Rubric
The student will put together a visual for display. The visual will contain relevant information directly related to their chosen topic. Students will collect pictures and include facts to create a creative and colorful visual.

Does not have all of the relevant information. There is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion and may be hard to understand.
Needs improvement
Lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented.
Work Quality/Effort
Excellent Work
The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.
Good Work
The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.
Fair
Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.
Needs improvement
Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
Format
Excellent Work
Exceptional quality and presentation. Submitted on time.
Good Work
Correct format, few mistakes that are easily overlooked. Submitted on due date.
Fair
Poorly presented. Possibly submitted later than original due date. Leaves out key elements from desired format.
Needs improvement
Does not follow format and/or submitted late. Pieces/items missing, sloppy.
Voice/Presentation
Excellent Work
Student 's voice was loud and clear. Information was easy to understand. Student was well prepared and only referred to the poster for picture information.
Good Work
Voice is good with minimal gaps in flow of information. Student was confident and knew topic well enough to only glance at poster.
Fair
Voice is acceptable - many gaps in flow of information or times voice could not be understood by all. Student was not prepared and read from the poster.
Needs improvement
Students did not speak in a tone that could be heard by all students - too soft. Information too hard to understand. Student did not present or was under 30 seconds.
