Google My Maps Google My Maps Evaluates an assignment using Google Map skills whereby the students create a map of their own utilising the features of Google Maps. Criteria

Presentation	Exceeds Expectations Presentation is polished and well practiced. Delivered with eye contact, correct pronunciation of all words.	Meets Expectations Presentation is polished and well practiced. Delivered with eye contact, correct pronunciation except a few words.	Approaching Expectations Presentation is ok, probably didn't practice beforehand. Some eye contact, but struggled with pronunciation of more complex words.	Partially Met Expectations Presentation is not effective. Feels like an after thought. Little engagement with the class. Mostly just reads from the screen.	Has Not Yet Met Expectations
EXPLANATION	Exceeds Expectations All of the place marks are uniquely named with an explanation. Interesting facts and details are included.<BR> Student has included original/personal information about the places.	Meets Expectations Most place marks are uniquely named and explained. Most include interesting facts and details. One or two original pieces of information included.	Approaching Expectations Most place marks are uniquely named and some are explained. A few facts and details are included. Little or no original/personal information was included.	Partially Met Expectations Some place marks are uniquely named but only a few are explained. No original information included.	Has Not Yet Met Expectations Very few place marks are named or explained.
ORGANISATION AND IMAGES	Exceeds Expectations Images are relevant and thoughtful. All media is present and then some.	Meets Expectations Meets the requirements for all media. Relevant pictures and videos for every location.	Approaching Expectations One or two media is wrong or not relevant.	Partially Met Expectations Two or more media is missing or not relevant.	Has Not Yet Met Expectations Images don't match the location. Or all media seems to not be relevant
