Understanding	Excellent Responses show detailed understanding of proportion, ratio or fraction. Shows clear connection to everyday lives.	Good Responses include use of proportion, ratio, or fractions but, used incorrectly. Shows connection to real world but, not everyday life.	Poor Improper use of mathematical concepts. No connection to real world experiences.
Sentence structure	Excellent Full and complete sentences. No grammatical errors.	Good Complete sentences with few grammatical errors.	Poor Fragment sentences with grammatical errors.
