Content	EXCELLENT The presentation includes all information relevant to the topic with emphasis on: location, climate, wildlife, landforms, bodies of water, activities and history.	PROFICIENT Presentation includes most relevant information; information is organized into at least 5 of the 7 topics.	ADEQUATE Presentation does not have all of the relevant information of the topic, 4 or less. Information is disorganized.	LIMITED The presentation is lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented.
Research/Planning	EXCELLENT Students have effectively used the internet to gather information using thorough jot notes and the graphic organizer for planning.	PROFICIENT Students have used the internet to gather some relevant information using general jot notes and the graphic organizer for planning.	ADEQUATE Students have gathered a minimal amount of research using the internet to gather information. Jot notes are unclear and/or the graphic organizer only partially complete.	LIMITED Students were unable to gather information to meet the needs of the project. Less than half of the jot notes were complete on the graphic organizer.
Work quality/effort	EXCELLENT The work done exceeds all expectations. The effort put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.	PROFICIENT Work is done with good effort that shows the capability of the learner. It is evident that time was put into this project.	ADEQUATE Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed or not given appropriate time and attention.	LIMITED Work is done with little effort, shows lack of quality, and may be incomplete. It is evident little time was spent on the final product.
Visual Aids	EXCELLENT The visual aids for the commercial have an element of creativity and style. Information is presented in a clear manner with full understanding of the subject.	PROFICIENT The visual aids are for the commercial are clear and logical and contain facts with very few mistakes. Information is clear with good understanding of the subject.	ADEQUATE The visual aids in the commercial relate to the subject matter, but contain errors. They lack style, neatness and/or clarity.	LIMITED The visual aids are minimal and/or do not reveal a clear understanding of the subject matter for the commercial. There are many errors, and they lack neatness and clarity.
Presentation	EXCELLENT The student is well-prepared,has his/her lines memorized, presents the information clearly, and displays a complete understanding of the information.	PROFICIENT The student presents the information clearly memorizes part of the script, and displays a reasonable understanding of their information.	ADEQUATE The information is minimal and his/part is not developed or the info. presented is not clearly displayed throughout the project.	LIMITED Not enough preparation was done for the presentation of the information. Little understanding of the topic is shown.
Bibliography	EXCELLENT Student submits a bibliography with at least 3 resources.	PROFICIENT Student submits a bibliography with at least 2 resources.	ADEQUATE Student submits a bibliography,but only resource is included.	LIMITED Student does not submit a bibliography.
