Students respond analytically to literary text by reproducing various articles represented/found in a newspaper.

Making Connections 20 pts Degree to which analysis connects to responder, other texts, the world.	Surpassing Response includes all 9 aspects of the assignment (plot, weather, feature story, editorial, author, ads).	Meeting Response includes 7 of 9 aspects of the assignment (plot, weather, feature story, editorial, author, ads). Organization and Time 20 pts Degree to which the analysis is presented, time is managemed, and organization is complete.
