Using an existing film clip of at least 90 seconds replace all Dialogue using ADR Methods demonstrated in class. Also replace any other sounds using SFX library and at least on Foley Sound. Finally add world/room sound and background music.

Audio/video production students in grades 9-12 will form teams of 2-4, and create a 10-minute short film with a clear influence from a selected film director.

Students will work with partners to create a step-by-step instructional video to explain a subject of their choice. Talent and multiple camera angles(cameras) must be used. The video must be 7-8 Minutes and YouTube Ready.

You must follow and fully complete the lesson plan format (TYPED) provided in its entirety, including lesson goals and objectives, agenda (Do Now, lesson content and/or notes), materials, assessment, and lesson goals. You must also execute (teach) your lesson plan to your section on your assigned date.

The purpose of this assignment is for students to become familiar with the shot composition rules and how to apply the rules to create visually stimulating photos & videos

Evaluation of TV Interview

Working in groups of four, create a television news video. Include local, national, and international news, science /technology, weather, sports, food or celebrity interview and/or a commercial to the show. The team may produce the news inside a studio or with reporters.

Basics of video production teamwork to tell a story using provided content-less dialogue (topic open-ended) and designated camera angles. Each team plans their scene using storyboards, actors, directors, cinematographers, and editors. Dialogue cannot be changed, or rearranged. Use dramatic devices, such as pauses and emotions! Any camera angles can be used, but must include at least one of the following: establishing shot, POV, low angle, high angle, depth of field.
