Grammatically Correct Graphic cannot have spelling or grammatical errors.	Poor Has several spelling/grammatical errors.	Fair Has one spelling/grammatical error.	Good No spelling/grammatical errors.
Readability Graphic must not be too wordy. It must be easy to read in one viewing.	Poor Information on graphic is cluttered. There are too many words to make it easy to read on one viewing.	Fair Graphic is wordy, but most viewers would be able to read on first viewing.	Good Graphic is easy to read on first viewing.
Image Background does not distract from the font (type) in the graphic.	Poor Background is busy making it nearly impossible to read the words of the graphic.	Fair Background fights with the words--but most viewers should be able to read the graphic.	Good Background does not conflict, but instead compliments the type used in the graphic.
Timing Graphic is timed properly to match the anchors read. Words on the screen appear when the anchor speaks.	Poor Timing is completely off. Graphic is either too short or too long.	Fair Graphic mostly matches the speed at which an average anchor speaks. There may be a slight delay or the text reveals too soon during anchor "read."	Good Graphic matches the "read" of a normal anchor perfectly.
