Creativity of the shot
Excellent
All shot were very creative, well beyond standard shots of this subject-matter. Powerful pictures. Moments or a subjects captured well. Pictures create interest for the viewer.Each shot fully meets or exceeds requirements.
Good
This was a good montage. Shots show good creativity and effort above and beyond the norm with little room for improvement. Shots mostly meet requirements
Fair
Shots could have been planned better and improved. Basic, standard shots of given subjects.Shots show SOME evidence of some requirements.
Poor
Shots demonstrated little to no creativity or were not student’s own work.These shots lacked emotion. They were one dimensional, uninteresting.Shots shows no evidence or minimal evidence of requirements
Composition rules applied to photos
Excellent
All Seven composition rules were correctly applied to numerous shots. No one composition rule was used in excess.
Good
Five or more composition rules were correctly applied to mostly all shots and no one rules was used in excess.
Fair
Only four or fewer composition rules were correctly applied to most of the shots.
Poor
Either two or fewer composition rules were evident or the composition rules some composition rules were used in excess while avoiding the use of others.
Number of Shots
Excellent
All 26 shots are in the video, are visually interesting, have been identified in presentation and all 26 shots have all elements of the treatment present.
Good
25 - 20 shots are presented, are all visually interesting, have been explained in the presentation and have all the elements of the treatment.
Fair
19- 15 shots are present, most photos are visually interesting, most of the photos have been explain and have most of the elements of the treatment
Poor
15 shots or fewer are present in the presentation and discussed, some of the elements of the treatment are present.
Video Montage
Excellent
Video was well paced and had a clear progression of the series of shots, shots were titled appropriately. Transitions were appropriate and audio track fit the sequence.
Good
Shots were all included in video edit was good but had some room for improvement because either transitions were inappropriate or edit didn't really flow.
Fair
The project was completed but could have used more effort, shots were average, elements of the video were average, project showed lack of creativity and effort.
Poor
The presentation was not completed on time, the presentation was not visually interesting, lots of elements of the video were missing, the video lacked cohesion. All shots were not included in the final video.
