Students will use the materials recycled to create her/his figure/representation of a house. Give a written description explaining step by step of how it was built, include 1. What items were used? 2. How did you create you house? 3. How long did it take you to make it? Extra points if the house is representative of the Native Americans. Students will present their projects to the class.

Students will conduct research on facts about a lessor known African-American who has worked to make changes in the United States. The student will present to the class. Due 2/5 -

The student will create a book providing information and pictures for the symbols of Pennsylvania and what they symbolize. Must include but are not limited to: Cover with the Pennsylvania States Flag, Student's name and grade, Each page has one symbol on the front and information about the symbol on the back.

Students will write the prayer from page 53, Celebrate, on to the coloring page provided. Student will write the prayer neatly. Next the student should color the name of Jesus and then the scene of Jesus talking to the children. Lastly color the boarder and flowers.

Color each of the counties on the map of Pennsylvania according to the example on page R 22, in the textbook. Using the Rubric below as your checklist. All items listed in the rubric should be included on your map.

Students will complete workbook pages 11 and 12. Following the direction about prayer and those Mrs. Wright gave during class time.

Individual project: Create a cross that includes at least four - five scriptures which references 40 days. It should be on the piece of paper supplied and creatively designed. It must also include the chapter and verse.
