Meaning and Originality	Poor The student's pages appear to be thoughtless and incomplete. Work is very repetitive.	Fair Less then 1/2 of the student's work shows creativity and appears to have no personal connections.	Great Pages are creative and original. It is evident that the student put thought into their words.
Content	Poor Difficult to visualize. Limited or no details. Student did not complete the tasks.	Fair Less then 1/2 of the student's work has details provided. Some use of imagery.	Great The student uses detailed information to add imagery for the reader.
Grammar	Poor The student has numerous spelling or grammar errors, making the details difficult to understand. Punctuation is used incorrectly or missing.	Fair The student's intended meaning is confusing by several spelling or grammar errors. Punctuation used incorrectly or missing.	Great The student uses correct spelling and grammar consistently throughout the tasks. Punctuation is utilized when necessary.
Neatness	Poor The student did not complete the pages neatly or legibly.	Fair The student completed less than 1/2 of the workbook pages neatly and legibly.	Great The student completed all the tasks neatly and legibly.
