Ecosystem/food chain Pyramid Energy Pyramid Students will create an Ecosystem/food chain pyramid. The pyramid should be labeled neatly. The pyramid should show the five levels of energy sources (kinds of animals and plants) as well as what type of source they are (producer or consumer). Fair Energy pyramid does contain all levels needed, but animals in the levels are not in the correct order.	Good The pyramid does contain all levels of animals needed and levels are in the correct order.
Energy Sources	Poor Only 0-2 sources are pictured.	Fair 3-4 sources are pictured.	Good 5-6 sources are pictured.
Vocabulary	Poor The pyramid does not show that the student has any understanding of a producer or consumer. Producers and consumers are not in correct order.	Fair The pyramid does not show that the student clearly understands what a producers and consumers are only 50% are in correct order.	Good The pyramid shows student understands producers and consumers and they are in correct order.
Labeling	Poor Only 0-4 labels are shown.	Fair 4-6 levels/producers or consumers are correctly labeled.	Good 6-8 levels/producers or consumers are correctly labeled.
Neatness	Poor Work can not be read. Pictures can not be identified, they are glued carelessly plus not all attached.	Fair Work is hard to read. Pictures can not be identified well, they are glued carelessly.	Good Work can be easily read. Pictures are placed neatly and others can identify what they are.
