Information Presentation and Research 
Students will research information on an assigned topic and prepare a presentation to convey information to an assigned audience. Preserntation can be visual, written, auditory or a combination of all three.

Consistent Understanding

The work product includes all information relevant to the topic (who, what, when where) in an organized fashion. Student has expanded on the topic and made a personal connection.
Work quality

No understanding

Student does not complete work project or will not attempt.
Limited Understanding

Work is done with little effort, shows lack of quality, and may be incomplete. It is evident little time was spent on the final product. Spelling/grammar errors take away from the presentation.
Understands the basics

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed or not given appropriate time and attention. Many spelling errors.
Good Understanding

Work is done with good effort that shows the capability of the learner. It is evident that time was put into this project.
Few spelling errors.
Consistent Understanding

The work done exceeds all expectations. The effort put into this task is the best it can be by the learner. Little or no spelling/grammar errors.

No understanding

Student does not complete work project or will not attempt.
Limited Understanding

The work product does not reveal a clear understanding of the subject matter and there are many errors. It lacks neatness and clarity. Few or irrelevant pictures.
Understands the basics

The work product shows some understanding of the subject matter, but contains errors. It lacks style, neatness and clarity. Few or irrelevant pictures.
Good Understanding

The work product is clear and logical and contains facts with very few mistakes. Information is clear with fair understanding of the subject. Pictures add to content, are relevant and do not clutter project.
Consistent Understanding

The work product has an element of creativity and style. Pictures are included to enhance content presented. Information is presented in a clear manner with full understanding of the subject.
