Slides contain relevant compelling information on the subject matter. Content is based on research information including information from several sources including the photocopied packet. Content may also reference Beacon on The Hill; The Souls of Black Folk; The Atlanta Exposition Speech; Greenleaf; or another text (literature circle). Video is outstanding and greatly enhances presentation

Presentation/Organization

Exemplary

The presentation is well coordinated. All material is presented using language that is original. Speakers are well informed and elaborate beyond the displayed material as needed. Looks like a team effort with no one student doing all of the teaching or talking. All components are included. Excellent management of instructional time.
Teaching strategies are used to introduce and teach material. Demonstrates original thought and time/effort.
Very Good

The presenters make consistent eye contact with the audience. Speakers are clear, and present information beyond the displayed material. All aspects of presentation are included. One speaker may do more of talking or all elements are not covered. Good management of time. Good use of strategies to introduce and assess materials.
Basic

The presenters make minimal eye contact with the audience. Most information is read directly from the screen or page. Lacks emotional connection to the material. Is not evident that all members have command of the information.
Presentation may be missing elements. Team members may be distracted. Activities presented are missed opportunities of time.
Unsatisfactory

More like a lecture than a presentation. Very few strategies to teach the information to the class. Appears that group members withhold information for fear of knowing more than other team members. Imbalanced presentation; missing aspects/requirements. Missed opportunities to teach content.
