Poster rubric

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster should be colorful, creative and have examples of math in words and pictures. The poster is to be done on a full sheet of poster board.

Good Poster includes all relevant information; however, it is not well-organized or easily understood..	Exceeds The poster includes all information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative, clear and concise. The student added information above what was required for assignment.
Work quality/effort	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed. Some directions were followed.	Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation. Most directions were followed.	Exceeds The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner. All directions were clearly followed.
Visual	Fair The student included one picture.	Good The student included some colorful pictures.	Exceeds The student included colorful examples of how the person they interviewed used math.
Use of Math	Fair The student had more than one mistake.	Good The student had one minor mistake.	Exceeds The student used all math terms correctly.
