Students will follow directions in their books to make a wreath from squares of paper and then transform that wreath into a pinwheel.

Followed Direction	Poor The student has not understood the concepts of the origami. The student did not follow instructions.	Good The student has followed some of the directions, however, the shape of the origami pieces have not been completed exaclty as the example.	Outstanding The student has completed a successful origami project. The edge of the shapes has been drawn neatly and the final project resembles the example.
Quality	Poor The student has not completed the origami star.	Good The student has completed the origami, although the c pieces are not arranged in a cohesive manner and the composition is not harmonious.	Outstanding The student has completed the origami. The pieces are arranged in a highly sucessful composition.
Colored/Decorated	Poor The work displays little creativity and no color	Good It is apparent that creativity was attempted and the work displays some color.	Outstanding Very creative and a great deal of color was used.
On Time	Poor Project is turned in a day or more late. Loss of 1point per day on the total grade earned!	Good Project is turned in during or after class. missing name and / or class.	Outstanding Project is on time, turned in and labeled with name and class.
