Poster Content	Excellent Understanding The poster includes all 10 facts as outlined in the directions. Facts and statements are clearly organized. The poster has an element of creativity and style. Pictures are included to enhance content.	Good Understanding Poster includes 6-9 facts as outlined in the directions. Information is organized. The poster is clear and logical with some creativity. Pictures add to content and do not clutter project.	Limited Understanding The poster includes 1-5 facts as outlined in the directions. Information is disorganized. The poster lacks neatness and clarity. There are few pictures.
Research Paragraph	Excellent Understanding The work done exceeds all expectations. Paraphrased and summarized ideas are in own words. The effort put into this task is the best it can be by the learner. Little or no spelling/grammar errors.	Good Understanding Work is done with good effort that shows the capability of the learner. Paraphrased and summarized pieces are mostly in own words. It is evident that time was put into this project. There are some spelling errors.	Limited Understanding Work is done with little effort, shows lack of quality, and may be incomplete. Paraphrased and summarized pieces are too much alike the original text. It is evident little time was spent on the final product. Spelling/grammar errors take away from the presentation.
Presentation	Excellent Understanding The student is well-prepared, presents the information clearly, and displays a complete understanding of the information.	Good Understanding The student presents the information clearly and displays a reasonable understanding of their information	Limited Understanding Not enough preparation was done for the presentation of the information. It therefore lacks the expected elements.
