Slides Content 25 %	Poor 2.5pts. The slides are lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented. Confusing.	Fair 5pts. Does not have all of the relevant information. There is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion and may be hard to understand.	Good 7.5pts. Slides include all relevant information; however, it is not well-organized or easily understood.	Excellent 12.5pts. The slides include all information relevant to the topic. The slides are creative, clear and concise. The student added information above what was taught in class or required for assignment.
Work Quality/Effort 25 %	Poor 2.5pts. Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.	Fair 5pts. Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.	Good 7.5pts. The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into the slides and presentation.	Excellent 12.5pts. The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.
Style/Mechanics/Appeal 25 %	Poor 2.5pts. The slides do not convey a clear understanding of the subject matter. There are many errors. Slides are not creative. Lacks color, pictures, videos.	Fair 5pts. Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not much use of color/pictures/design. The slides lack clarity of information, creativity, and neatness.	Good 7.5pts. The slides are clear and contain few mistakes. Good creativity and neatness (not wordy). Overall well organized but lacks.	Excellent 12.5pts. The slides are highly creative and is not just a list of facts. The slides convey a clear understanding of the topic. The slides are very eye appealing and draws the viewer to ask more questions. The slides indicate the students are knowledgeable about the topic.
Oral Presentation 25 %	Poor 2.5pts. The student did a poor job presenting. Little evidence of being familiar with the material. General lack of confidence in entertaining questions. Seemed to bore the class and lacked passion. Presentation extremely brief (less than 5 minutes)	Fair 5pts. The student did a fair job presenting his or her project (including posture, volume, rate, pitch, and quality) but did not appear familiar with the topic or confident in responding to questions raised. Presentation on the brief side (6-8 minutes).	Good 7.5pts. The student presented their project very well and answered all questions with a moderate level of confidence and comfort (including posture, volume, rate, pitch, and quality). Seemed to be familiar with the topic researched (8-10 minutes).	Excellent 12.5pts. The student did an excellent job presenting their project to the class (including posture, volume, rate, pitch, and quality) and responded to questions with confidence. Considerable evidence of familiarity with material researched. Very engaging with the class. Presentation of adequate length to demonstrate depth of research and integration of material (10-15 minutes).
