Students will use themselves as a possible element and then explain how they fit into major sections of the periodic table including atomic mass, average atomic mass, etc

Content Knowledge	Poor The poster does not meet the basic requirements as stated in the handout.	Fair Poster meets the basic requirements as stated in the handout.	Good Poster/Project includes 1 or 2 additional items not stated in the handout.	Exceeds Poster/Project includes 3 or more additional items not stated in the handout.
Work quality/effort	Poor Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and not enough time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed somewhat.	Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.	Exceeds The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this project is superior.
Creativity	Poor Lacks original artwork or personal touch. Not students own drawing/writing/words. Not good use of space on poster./Presentation Messy. Lacks color, texture, etc.	Fair Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not alot of color/shapes/design. Most of the drawings/writing is the student's own.
