1. Students will use a nine-inch paper plate to create their own MyPlate. 2. Color plate to resemble the colors on MyPlate. 3. Write an inventory of your meals and categorize MyPlate by food groups.

Content Knowledge	Poor Food groups incomplete or inaccurate. Too few items, or wrong information.	Fair 3-4 facts or wrong vocabulary on the plate are inaccurate and do not display the correct information covered in class.	Good All but 1-2 facts/vocabulary are inaccurate/displayed on the plate.	Excellent All information and facts are correct, good use of vocabulary. Content is complete.
Work quality/effort	Poor Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.	Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this plate and presentation.	Excellent The work was done carefully and with quality.
Creativity	Poor Lacks creativity. Not good use of space on plate. Messy. Lacks color.	Fair Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not alot of color/shapes/design.	Good Contains good creativity. Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design. Shows the student spent time creating an artistic piece.	Excellent Excellent creativity. Well organized and colorful, a great artistic work.
