Ethos Pathos Logos Project 
Students will display their understanding of the persuasive appeals by completing an advertisement to promote his/her selected novel. Students may use Lucid Press, Canva, Adobe or other digital software to create print advertisement.

Not very appealing. Illustration is present, but lacks creativity and/or does not meet copyright guidelines. Limited use of creative materials. Not a lot of color/design.
Poor

Lacks illustration. Not good use of space on advertisement. Messy. Lacks color. /
Format/presentation

Exceeds

Print advertisement and/or book jacket is of exceptional quality. Nothing is torn or bent. Submitted on time. Student actively participated during poster presentation and is able to explain the appeals used along with propaganda technique.
Fair

Print advertisement and/or book jacket is damaged. Print advertisement and/or book jacket submitted later than original due date. Student presented poster but unable to identify and explain appeals and techniques.
Poor

Not created digitally and/or submitted late. Student did not present.
