Composer Group Presentation/Performance 
You will earn a grade that reflects the accuracy and detail of your research, and the quality of the presentation of your findings. Each student on the group will earn a group collaboration grade. The group collaboration grade will be based on how effectively you perform your role as a member of the group in both presentation and performance.

Clear, concise information about the artist/group backed up with details. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the various terms and their connection to the topic beyond they required points. Most or all information is given in own words.
Developing

Presentation addresses assigned points but may lack detail, demonstrates partial understanding of the various terms and/or their connection to the topic of study, appears uncomfortable with information. Some 'cut and paste' and some information given in own words.
Minimal Achievement

Underdeveloped, vague, confusing detail, demonstrates an inadequate understanding of the various terms and/or their connection to the topic of study, demonstrates little understanding of subject, cannot answer questions about subject. Mainly 'Cut and paste' information. Assigned questions not addressed.
Delivery

Proficient

Enthusiastic tone, appropriate volume, and speed of delivery are maintained. There is evidence of practice and some consistency in presentation flow.
Developing

Tone, volume, speed are inconsistent. More practice is in order. There is little flow to the overall presentation.
Minimal Achievement

Tone, volume, speed are poor, the entire presentation is delivered with lack of attention to professionalism and flow.
Group collaboration / teamwork

Proficient

All members of the group collaborated on each portion of the research and presentation.
Developing

Some group collaboration was evident, but there was some repeated information from lack of communication OR some group members did not appear to be working with the group as a whole unit during prep time.
Minimal Achievement

Most group members seemed to be working individually, with little to no collaboration or communication during research phase, or the planning and preparation of the presentation.
Audio | Visual

Proficient

Audio-visual elements of presentation are proficient, graphics are relevant and demonstrate a fairly complete understanding of subject, excellent graphics consistent with text, creativity is evident
Developing

Basic level of achievement with regard to audio-visual elements, graphics relevant but somewhat inappropriate/basic, demonstrate satisfactory understanding of subject, graphics somewhat consistent with text
Minimal Achievement

Minimal level of achievement with regard to audio-visual elements, graphics demonstrate lack of understanding/professionalism, graphics inconsistent with text
Performance

Proficient

Performance demonstrates all appropriate dynamic contrast, proper articulations, correct diction, intonation, balance and mature tone. Performance is well prepared, creative, engaging and conveys the message and style of the piece
Developing

Performance demonstrates some dynamic contrast, some musical aspects are lacking (clarity, intonation,pitch, rhythm)
Some blend or balance issues, tone is inconsistent. Evidence of preparation
Minimal Achievement

Performance does not demonstrate dynamics, lacks cohesiveness, errors detract significantly from the performance. No evidence of preparation
