Human Impact Poster Project

How does human behavior impact the environment? The students will research a chosen topic on how humans are currently having an impact on the Earth's environment. Working in groups, students will create an educational, environmental public service announcement slideshow/poster.

Level 2 Does not have all of the relevant information of the poster. There is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion and may be hard to understand. There are 2-3 facts stated.	Level 3 Project includes all relevant information; however, it is not well-organized or easily understood.There are only 4 facts stated.	Level 4 The project includes all information relevant to the topic. The project is creative, clear and concise. The students added information above what was taught in class or required for assignment. The five facts are clearly stated.
Slogan/Saying	Level 1 The project has no slogan or saying.	Level 2 The project has a saying or slogan that is relevant, but is not original.	Level 3 The project has a slogan or saying that is relevant to the topic displayed.	Level 4 The project has a creative and well thought out slogan or saying.
Defined Vocabulary Word	Level 1 The project has no defined vocabulary word.	Level 2 The project has a vocabulary word defined copied straight from the dictionary without explanation. Level 3 The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.	Level 4 The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of their work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.
