Original War Poster rubric

The students will create a war poster. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to an American war. The artwork must be original and the student's own work. The poster size - NO smaller than 14x17 inches. DO NOT ATTEMPT IF YOU ARE NOT ARTISTIC!!!

Good Poster includes 4 elements, all relevant information; however, it is not well-organized or easily understood..	Excellent The poster includes 5 or more elements of information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative, clear and concise.
Work quality/effort	Poor Work is done with little effort.	Fair Work is done with fair effort.	Good The work was done with good effort.	Excellent The work done exceeds all expectations and shows considerable time and effort.
Creativity	Poor Lacks original artwork. Not students own drawing/writing. Not good use of space on poster. Messy. Lacks color, texture.	Fair Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not a lot of color/shapes/design. Most of the drawings/writing is the student's own.	Good Contains students own writing and drawing.Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design.
