Make a presentation (Media Literacy; Oral Communication) about the sitcom you chose. In your presentation you will answer questions from your planning sheet (April 15th). You are encouraged to include additional information about your sitcom. You can IF YOU WANT (optional) write and perform part of an episode from your sitcom with two other classmates. You can also show a 10 minute clip from your sitcom in your presentation. Presentations will be from Monday, May 1 to Friday May 10th.

Pretend your book has been made into a movie. Create a POSTER to advertise your "movie"(book). Your poster should be easy to read. Your poster must be on at least 34 x 45 cm size paper (or larger). Do NOT copy the Book's cover. Your poster is due on Tuesday, March 6th or Wednesday, March 7. Complete three (or more) book into movie posters by the beginning of June. This is a Media Literacy Mark. Your finished product is in a format of your choice. You must submit a separate notebook on Feb 1 (7A) or Feb. 6 (7B). You will be given 6 class periods to work on your project. 7A presentations start Feb. 1 7B presentations start Feb. 6th. Total Marks = /80.

Placemat rubric for Tecumseh and General William Hull. Students are working in groups; each student will get a mark. The total mark is /40 for each student. You will also get a group work mark out of /10. You are responsible for point form notes from the text, which will form the basis of your next test.
