Bill into Law Presentation and Rubric 
Rubric for evaluating student presentations based on their bill into law presentations, which will be week of February 11th, 2019. (Marks for term 2, Social Studies, Oral Communication, Writing, Media Literacy) TOTAL = / 60 marks (2 marks subtracted per day for every day late)

Student or students presentation is presented in an understandable and logical sequence which audience can follow. The presentation is ENTERTAINING and INFORMATIVE and WELL RESEARCHED. The audience learns a lot about the presenters ideas for making a provincial bill into a law. The presenters encourage audience participation (i.e. questions, prizes, tickets). The presentation is 5 to 7 minutes long. Believable props are used.

The presenter(s) are very knowledgeable about their topic. The audience is very entertained and informed by the presentation, and convinced that the idea to make this bill into a law is a very good idea! The presenter(s) have submitted a very accurate list of website(s) and book(s) to Mr. Bhaduri. A TYPED or neatly printed script is submitted (who says what/ who does what).

The script or notes submitted to Mr. Bhaduri is complete and neat. When reading the script, the actions and words of characters are very clear. The script or notes is submitted the morning of or day before the actual presentation.

Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.
Excellent

Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
