6th Grade World Geography Project Presentation and Tri-Fold Poster: Reading Fair Project Students will use a tri-fold poster to present information and graphics on their chosen topic. Tri-Fold Project
	Excellent 100 pts	Fair 80 pts	Poor 65 pts
Content of Poster 25 pts	Excellent All basic relevant information is included, as well as some additional interesting aspects.	Fair Includes most basic relevant information and exhibits factual accuracy but some basic relevant information is missing.	Poor Substantially lacks relevant information and contains factual inaccuracies and/or misleading information.
Visual Design of Tri-Fold 25 pts	Excellent Presents information about the topic in a well-organized, interesting, and stimulating manner. Utilizes a variety of different materials and colors, and is uncluttered and pleasing to look at.	Fair Presents information about the topic in a somewhat organized and interesting manner. Shows some thought and planning. Utilizes some different materials and colors, but suffers from being cluttered and/or unorganized at certain points.	Poor Presents information about the topic in an unorganized and uninteresting manner. Shows a lack of thought and planning. Fails to utilizes a variety of different materials and colors.
Writing 25 pts	Excellent Writing/Text is grammatically correct and spelled correctly. Font style and size and color are appropriate for this level project.	Fair Less than two grammar and spelling errors. Font style and size and color are somewhat appropriate for this level project.	Poor More than two grammar and spelling errors. Font style and size and color are not appropriate for this level project.
Creativity/Effort 25 pts	Excellent Substantial creativity is apparent throughout all parts of the project, including both presentation and poster design.	Fair Some creativity is apparent in a number parts of the project, including in parts of both the presentation and poster design.	Poor There is a noticeable lack of creativity and effort throughout the project.
Oral Presentation 10 pts	Excellent Information is presented clearly, and in an interesting and exciting manner, demonstrating The trifold is used effectively as part of the presentation and careful planning is evident.	Fair Information is presented in a somewhat interesting manner. The trifold is used somewhat effectively as part of the presentation.	Poor Presentation is not interesting and suggests a lack of preparation in both design and rehearsal. Does not effectively incorporate the content of the trifold into the presentation.
