Research the approved topic. Submit one 7-10 page typed paper, double spaced, 12 point Arial font following MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least 5 resources, (use quotes from all 5). Quotes can not be more than 5 lines. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.

Students will work individually to design a model of a geographic event, wildlife or or location. Additionally, they will research the significance of this geographic event, location or wildlife, and present this information in a well written paragraph to accompany their exhibit. Extra points will be given if student presents the model to the class.

Students will use a tri-fold poster to present information and graphics on their chosen topic. Each student will have the option of presenting their project for extra points.

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment.
