This rubric assess the daily guidelines taught to the students for the Reading and Language Arts time in the classroom.

Followed Work Procedures	1 Student was out of seat, talking loudly, or playing continuously after being warned several times.	2 Student followed most work guidelines.	3 Student stayed on task and worked quietly.
Reading With Partner	1 The student refused to read with their partner.	2 The student had a hard time settling down to work with a partner, but eventually got started.	3 The student worked well with a partner to and read the book. They checked for understanding and stayed on task the entire time.
Completed Assignment correctly	1 The student did not complete the assignment or rushed through it to get done.	2 The student completed the assignment but lacked details in the picture and or explanation of what the book was mainly about.	3 The student completed the assignment with minimal mistakes. The student demonstrated thinking after reading.
