The poster includes all information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative, clear and concise. The student added information above what was taught in class or required for assignment.
Work quality/effort

Poor

Work is done with little effort. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
Fair

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is not what is expected. It is evident that the work was rushed.
Good

The work was done with good effort. It is evident that time and thought was put into this poster and presentation.
Exceeds

The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his work.
Creativity

Poor

Lacks original originality. Not students own drawing/writing. Not good use of space on poster. Messy. Lacks colour, texture.
Fair

Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not alot of colour/shapes/design. Most of the drawings/writing is the student's own.
Good

Contains students own writing and drawing.Lots of colours, shapes, and appealing design. Shows the student spent time creating an artistic piece.
Exceeds

Eye catching. Great use of colours, texture, shapes, and spacing on poster. Artwork is original & neat. Writing is easy to read. Ideas were expressed graphically (through art).
Format/presentation

Poor

Not required size and/or submitted late. Incomplete.
Fair

Poster was possibly submitted later than original due date. Some aspects irrelevant.
Good

Poster is correct size, neatly displayed. Submitted on due date. All relevant/appropriate.
Exceeds

Poster is of exceptional quality and presentation. Submitted on time.
Expectations/Potential

Poor

Does not meet requirements of competition. Cannot be displayed on a noticeboard or a website.
Fair

Few areas meet expectations but not suitable for display.
Good

Numerous areas of project meet expectations Could be displayed on public noticeboards or on a website.
Exceeds

Poster meets all requirements and expectations. Deserves to be displayed on a website or a public noticeboard.
