Human Rights Poster Rubric
The students will create a poster/presentation on a chosen Human Right that they believe is important. The poster should include a Human Right, a responsibility that comes with it, an image representing the right, and a written description of why it is important to the student.

The poster is creative, colorful and clear.
The poster is presented in a clear and concise manner with full understanding of the subject.
Level 3
The poster is clear, colorful and logical.
It contains very few mistakes indicating a good understanding of the subject.
Level 2
The poster lacks some creativity and colour.
The poster lacks neatness and clarity indicating very little understanding of the subject.
Level 1
The poster lacks a clear understanding of the subject matter and there are many errors. Poster is not colorful or creative.
Violations
Level 4
The project accurately details important violations in Canada and around the world.
Level 3
The project outlines violations with some detail.
Level 2
The project is missing violation from either Canada or the World.
Level 1
The project does not outline any violations.
