Poster or PowerPoint rubric
Students will create a flyer highlighting animal contributions to humans and a general overview of the livestock industry learned in chapters 1 and 2. The flyer must contain information from 4 topics/areas to inform others of the benefits of animal science and animal industries to society.

Lacks artwork. Not good use of space on poster. Messy. Lacks color, texture.

Flyer is of exceptional quality and presentation. Submitted on time.
Good
Flyer is clean and neatly displayed. Submitted on due date.
Fair
Flyer is layout is undesirable. Flyer may have been submitted beyond original due date.
Poor
Flyer layout is undesirable. Flyer was submitted more than 1 day after due date.
Graphics
Excellent
Many graphics used and help to enhance the presentation of the benefits of the industry. The audience gets a positive image/feel of the industry.

Most graphics are related to animal industry and help the audience to understand the benefits of the industry.
