Students will research information on any specific topic (pre-approved) and prepare a presentation to convey information to the class.

Content	Above Level A The presentation includes all information asked about the topic in an organized fashion.	Solidly At Level B Presentation includes most information; information is organized.	Somewhat At Level C Does not have all of the relevant information of the presentation. Information is disorganized.	Below Level D The presentation is lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented.
Work quality	Above Level A The work done exceeds all expectations. The effort put into this task is the best it can be; the group worked as a cohesive unit.	Solidly At Level B Work is done with good effort that shows the capability of the learners. It is evident that time was put into this project with little disagreement in the group.	Somewhat At Level C Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is not what the learners are capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed or not given appropriate time and attention. Not all group members participated equally. **	Below Level D Work is done with little effort, shows lack of quality, and may be incomplete. It is evident little time was spent on the final product.
Visual Appeal	Above Level A The google slides presentation has an element of creativity and style. Information is presented in a clear manner with full understanding of the subject.	Solidly At Level B The google slides presentation is clear and logical and contains facts with very few mistakes. Information is clear with fair understanding of the subject.	Somewhat At Level C The google slides presentation shows some understanding of the subject matter, but contains errors. It lacks style, neatness and clarity.	Below Level D The google slides presentation does not reveal a clear understanding of the subject matter and there are many errors. It lacks neatness and clarity.
Presentation	Above Level A The student is well-prepared, presents the information clearly, and displays a complete understanding of the information. Few or no errors in conventions	Solidly At Level B The student presents the information clearly and displays a reasonable understanding of his/her information. Minimal errors - errors do not impact communication	Somewhat At Level C The information presented is not clearly displayed consistently throughout the project. Errors have a minimal impact on communication	Below Level D Not enough preparation was done for the presentation of the information. It therefore lacks the expected elements. Many errors that may interfere with communication
Use of Classroom Time	Above Level A The student used time wisely in the classroom and submitted information on the appropriate due dates.	Solidly At Level B Student used most of their class time appropriately and submitted work when it was due.	Somewhat At Level C Student used some class time and submitted some prep work, but not on time.	Below Level D Student did not use class time appropriately or turn in prep work.
Assessment	Above Level A The student created an assessment that is accurate and thorough; creatively reflective of the presentation using HOTS	Solidly At Level B The students created an assessment that is reflective of the presentation	Somewhat At Level C The students created an assessment	Below Level D The students did not create a complete assessment (no assessment is a zero)
