Poster and Presentation rubric 
Students are to make a Facebook page of a colony that is taught in one of the three lessons. They are to include a profile picture, wall post, status updates, and anything else found on a Facebook page all relating to the colony they choose. The status updates and wall post need to be related to the colony they choose. Be creative!

The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.

The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.

The student speaks clearly and freely and presents their information with complete understanding.It is evident that the student has prepared what they will say.
Students engages audience and maintains eye contact throughout the presentation

The student speaks clearly and presents a good amount of the information expected.
Student speaks with some support from prompting cards and occasionally the information presented appears not to be understood fully.
Student attempts to engage audience and maintains frequent eye contact.

There are several confusing moments and the information presented is not completely
relayed during the presentation due to a lack of understanding.
