Classroom Expectations Classroom Expectations This rubric has been designed to assess student's on task performance during classroom instruction. This rubric is completed weekly. Classroom Expectations

Effort/Time on Task	4 Student completed all homework and assignments.	3 Student completed the assignments, but needed one redirection from the teacher.	2 Student completed the assignments, but needed frequent redirection from the teacher.	1 Student did not complete the assignments even with prompting from the teacher.
Participation	4 Student is constantly active and participated in classroom activities for 90% or more of class time.	3 Student participated in classroom activities for 75% of class time.	2 Student was slow to participate in classroom activities. Only participated 50% of class time.	1 Student did not participate in classroom activities.
Cooperation	4 Student follows directions and rules for the entire class time. Student shares his/her creative ideas and encourages other students.	3 Student follows directions and rules for the majority of class. He/she did not argue with others concerning tasks, and when asked, assisted other students.	2 Student follows directions and rules 50% of class time. Occasionally argues with others concerning the tasks. Student was not able to assist other students, although the attempt was made.	1 Student did not follow directions and rules. Student argued with classmates or teacher concerning tasks. Did not assist other students.
Noise level	4 Student's noise level was not an issue. No warnings were given. Studentn was not a distraction to other students working around him/her.	3 Student's noise level was acceptable for the most part. Only one warning was given concerning noise.	2 When warnings were given regarding noise level being too loud, student responded positively. Student was given two warnings.	1 Many warnings were given to student concerning noise level, but student did not correct.
Follow Directions	4 Student followed all directions using a creative and thoughtful approach. When confused, student re-read the directions in order to understand the task.	3 Student completely followed all directions. When confused, student asked teacher for help in understanding the task.	2 Student followed the directions, but only minimally. Student did not consistently follow the directions .	1 Student was unable to follow directions due to being off task or unwillingness to work. Even when redirected, student did not follow the directions.
