Robotics Route Map Design Your City: Map project You will create a map of the route your EV3 robot takes to the Main Office. Your map must include: distance of each stretch of the hallway, # of blocks in each stretch of the hallway (block dimensions), and clear labels of landmarks (cafe A, classroom doors, closets, etc.). Please include a map title, all relevant landmarks discussed, visual details (distance, # of blocks, # of seconds, turns). Lastly, list steps of travel including all details (distance, # of blocks, # of seconds, turns). Map Componenets	Excellent The map includes a relevant title, group names, period and map key.	Good The map is missing one of the key features (title, names, period, key).	Average The map does not contain two or more of the key features (title, names, period, key).	Poor None of the map components were included.
Landmarks	Excellent The map includes all 7 predetermined landmarks. Landmarks are clearly identified.	Good The map includes fewer than 7 landmarks and/or majority of landmarks are not clearly identified.	Average The map includes fewer than 4 landmarks.	Poor Student failed to identify any landmarks.
Visual Details	Excellent The map includes specific details to include distance, # of blocks, time (or revolutions) for each length of the route, and turn direction.	Good The map incorporates some details, but is unclear in portions. Somewhat difficult to interpret specific locations.	Average The map does not incorporate details. It is extremely difficult to understand. Locations and proximity are hard to decipher.	Poor Map is incomplete.
Steps to Goal	Excellent Steps include distance, # of blocks, time (or revolutions) for each length of the route, and turn directions.
