Fall Holiday Celebrations in France and USA Holiday Celebrations in French-Speaking Countries Present your holiday celebration is like to the flip-grid group. Research and Present information about a cultural fall holiday. Write about and illustrate your holiday. • Historical background • Services, or ceremonies • Symbolism • Dates Record a 2-3 minute video describing the holiday to friends in Orange, France. Help them understand what the holiday is, and how we celebrate it in the USA. Some holidays are not celebrated in France that we take for granted in the USA. Organization	Poor There is no sequence of information.	Fair There is some sequence of information, but significant jumping around.	Good Audience has occasional difficulty following presentation because student jumps around.	Excellent Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow.
Subject Knowledge	Poor Significant gaps in subject knowledge.	Fair Student shows some misunderstandings of information.	Good Student is uncomfortable with information and is only able read what is on the que cards	Excellent Student is at ease with the information; he/she is able to add some additional information to the presentation.
Visual Appeal	Poor Presentation is completely thrown together and unappealing. Poster board. No content pictures. Doesn't match organization.	Fair Powerpoint. No content pictures. Doesn't match organization.	Good Presentation appearance is average. It is generally watchable and readable, but is not overly memorable.	Excellent Presentation is generally nice-looking. Colorful with content pictures. Follows organization.

Each student speaks clearly and enunciates the French words correctly.
