Students are to write a restaurant review, based on a class trip to a French restaurant. (imagine) To be considered in the revue are the food, service, decor. Students will create a video or powerpoint of a cooking demonstration using a recipe of a simple French dish. They will incorporate FRENCH vocabulary. The recipe must be something that would be found at a Mardi Gras or Carnaval celebration. The culture or history of this food will be part of the PPT/video. There are recipes in OneNote.

The students are to create a children's book or write and illustrate a story in French using the passé composé and imparfait. Use the vocabulary from chapters 1-7 in the D'accord Fr 1 textbook. Story must have a beninning, middle and an end or conclusion.

Students write about how they were when they were little (toddlers), or 10 years old. They must include details about their personality, physical traits, school experience, their favorite foods, activities they enjoyed and ones they didn't, people they liked and ones they didn't, and what they miss the most about their childhood.
