Plan: This rubric will be used to assess students' story "snips" in Chapter XII. Students' stories should bring the moment in the fairy ring alive using descriptive visceral and conceptual details. Compelling language, sensory details, and magical elements should mimic Gaiman's prose style.

Needs Work

Many errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation that detract from the story's narrative. Commits mechanical errors as well.
