Sportsmanship Poster and Presentation Rubric 
The students will work to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the theme of Sportsmanship. Students will provide information on Sportsmanship in a creative and colorful poster. The poster will be designed on teacher-provided poster paper. The finished product should be laminated. Each group will be required to present their poster and its contents to the class.

The poster includes all information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative, clear and concise. The group had all the<BR>
information that was taught in class or required for assignment and this information was presented in a clear, concise manner.
Group-work quality/effort

Needs improvement

Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learners are capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete. One person did all the work on the design/presentation.
Fair

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed. One person did most of the work on the design/presentation.
Good Work

The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation. Decent group effort (everyone at least attempted to take part), but improvement is still needed.
Excellent Work

The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learners are proud of their work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be from the group. Everyone in the group was actively engaged in the project or played a significant part in the design/presentation.
Creativity

Lacks original creativity. Not good use of space on poster. Messy. Lacks color, texture.
Fair

Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not a lot of color/shapes/design. No quotes or pictorial examples of the concept.
Good Work

Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design. Shows the students spent time creating an artistic piece. Contains quotes and pictorial examples of the concept.
Excellent Work

Eye catching. Great use of colors, texture, shapes, spacing on poster, and words/pictorial examples of the concept. Creativity is shown to in every area on the poster. Writing is easy to read. Shows the student can express ideas through art.
Presentation Quality

Needs improvement

Poster not laminated and/or submitted late. Pieces/items falling or hanging off.

too hard to understand.
