School Garden Rubric

Each group will document for a measurement and recording of growth of the school garden. You will be graded as a team and as individuals. You must include the math, science, of you and your team garden.

Content & Creativity	Good individual content and creativity is clear. The ideas presented reflect understanding of measurement, recording. Proposal is colorful with each section labeled.	Fair The project is sound, but lacks clear connection to science and math concept, fractions. Proposal is colorful, but missing some labels.	Poor The project idea is unclear and does not follow directions. Proposal is colorful but has not labels.
Teamwork	Good It is evident that students worked together to care for the garden. Each person is well prepared to give their part of their talk.	Fair Some students exhibit greater responsibility than others.	Poor Students are goofing off or arguing amongst each other.
Measurement	Good All work is shown and math process and science in measurement. Each individual can answers are correct. All components are congruent to scale and size.	Fair Most work shown in chronological order of dates. Correct labeling of plants to inches.	Poor Some work is shown with more than 2 mistakes in measurements and answers. More than 2 components are NOT are not recorded correctly.
Presentation	Good Student taken the time to have a clear presentation of project. They have taken the time to color the activities and label correctly. SHows organization and/or some reflection of the school garden.	Fair Student completed some of the coloring activities. SHows some organization and/orsome reflection of school garden.	Poor Coloring is rushed and not presented neatly. Does not show organization and/or no reflection.
